Thank You to a Client Who Wrote a Letter

By Stephen J. Silverberg
New York Elder Law Attorney

Every now and again we receive letters – yes, real letters, using paper and ink – from clients pleased with our services. One recently arrived that we wanted to share, with the permission of our client :

“We received all the documents which were perfectly executed by you and your staff.
We wish to thank you for navigating us through the complex issues of wills, trusts, etc.
The operation was done so well that it was actually painless.
You took a load off of our minds.”

Here’s what we love about this letter – it explains our practice perfectly.

Estate planning sounds complicated, and for some families, it is. That’s why we consider client education to be so important.  Once you understand the different tools of estate planning and how they work separately and together, it all makes sense.

We believe that pain-free estate planning is the best way to go. The topics we tackle – death and incapacity – are difficult, but necessary.

Finally, we consider it the highest praise to learn that we have eased our client’s mind.  That is the essence of what estate planning is: preparing for life’s eventualities, whether that means incapacity, addressing end-of-life care issues, transferring wealth across generations, creating a legacy, tax planning for today and the future, or distributing assets after death.

If you’d like to learn more about ‘pain-free’ estate planning, call our office to make an appointment at 516-307-1236.
